How Long will it take to Dry out your Home?

A common misconception when I go to a home after they have experienced water damage is that whenever it looks dry, it is dry. But we actually use something called a moisture meters and Hygrometers. 

Moisture Meter-An instrument for determining the percentage of moisture in a material. 

Hygrometer-An instrument for measuring the humidity of the air or a gas.

We use these tools to detect moisture levels in the home. Once it reaches acceptable levels, that are a standard in your home, that is when we determine that your home is dry.
